This commitment is equally valid for any new services that may be made available on the electronic platforms, which must scrupulously respect the Privacy Policy and the Conditions of Access and Use expressed in this document.

By means of this policy, MAX FINANCE demonstrates its commitment to and respect for the personal data of its users. Accordingly, it ensures that the best protection and security practices are adopted in respect of the technical and organisational measures used to safeguard personal data.

Data processing

1. Personal data

Personal data corresponds to any information, of any nature and regardless of its medium, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Through this system, and depending on the purpose described below, the following personal data may be collected:

  • Name;
  • Contact details (telephone and email);
  • Professional data and any other information necessary and relevant for the provision of the services requested from us.

2. Purpose and processing of personal data

Personal data is collected lawfully, fairly and transparently, given that its processing is necessary and indispensable for the provision of the service entrusted to us, namely the intermediation of credit products and the brokerage of insurance, as well as for compliance with our legal obligations as a credit intermediary and/or insurance broker. The user therefore acknowledges and accepts that, without access to the personal data collected, the provision of this service is not possible.

The data subject expressly, freely and in an informed manner declares that the data identified above is provided for the following purposes:

  • Access to and use of the MAX FINANCE management platform;
  • Communication and management of credit and insurance processes;
  • Integration with calendar, email and productivity services authorised by the user (e.g. Google Calendar);
  • Recruitment and selection of new collaborators.

The personal data collected is processed electronically and in strict compliance with personal data protection legislation, being stored in dedicated databases located in the EU and created for that purpose. Under no circumstances will the collected data be used for any purpose other than the one for which the data subject has given consent.

3. Retention of personal data

The data provided to us, and consensually collected, will be retained for the period of time necessary for the purpose that justified its collection and in order to comply with legal obligations, or until the time necessary to guarantee the exercise of the rights of objection, rectification and erasure has elapsed.

4. Data subject rights

The user, as data subject, is guaranteed at any time the right of access to their personal data, as well as the respective:

  • Rectification;
  • Erasure;
  • Portability;
  • Restriction of processing;
  • Objection to processing.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact MAX FINANCE in writing, using the email address dpo@maxfinance.pt.

Without prejudice to the above, the user will always have the right to lodge any complaints they consider appropriate with the competent supervisory authority, whose contact details can be found at www.cnpd.pt.

5. Disclosure of personal data to third parties

MAX FINANCE will share the data collected with the franchisees that make up its network. In addition, and depending on the services requested by the data subject, the data may also be shared with banking, financial and insurance entities that have a protocol with MAXFINANCE, among other entities whose list may be requested through the DPO.

Personal data may be used by companies of the EVERYBODY WINS GROUP — SOCIEDADE GESTORA DE PARTICIPAÇÕES SOCIAIS, S.A. group (NIPC 514658517), with registered office at Avenida do Brasil, n.º 1, Edifício do Centro de Escritórios do Campo Grande, 1, 1700-062 Lisboa, district of Lisbon, municipality of Lisbon, parish of Alvalade, holder of shareholdings in RE/MAX Portugal, for marketing purposes.

When this happens, MAX FINANCE takes appropriate measures to ensure that the entities with access to personal data are reputable and offer high guarantees in this regard, which will be duly enshrined and safeguarded in a contract entered into in writing between MAXFINANCE and the relevant third-party entity (or entities).

Any entity subcontracted by MAX FINANCE will process users' personal data in the name and on behalf of MAX FINANCE, and is obliged to adopt the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorised access, and against any other form of unlawful processing.

In any case, MAX FINANCE remains responsible for the processing of personal data.

6. Data obtained through integrations with third-party services (Google and others)

The MAX FINANCE platform offers optional integrations with external services — for example, Google Calendar, Google Workspace and email providers. These integrations are enabled exclusively after the user's express authorisation through the corresponding consent flows (OAuth).

Data obtained through these integrations is used strictly for the purposes authorised by the user, namely:

  • Synchronisation of calendar events with the internal agenda;
  • Reading or sending email messages in the context of process management.

MAX FINANCE does not sell, does not share and does not use this data for advertising purposes or for training artificial intelligence models.

The user may revoke the authorisation granted at any time:

  • Through the security settings of their account in the relevant service — for example, myaccount.google.com/permissions;
  • By requesting the deactivation of the integration from MAX FINANCE support.

Data controller

The entity responsible for the collection and processing of personal data for the purposes mentioned above is:

Max Finance — Intermediários de Crédito, Lda
Beloura Office Park, Edifício 8, Piso 0
2710-693 Sintra, Portugal

MAX FINANCE, as data controller, has appointed a DPO who can be contacted at the email address dpo@maxfinance.pt.
